KEY in Des Moines stands for Keeping Educated Youth in Des Moines.  It is a program connecting employers with area colleges and universities for workforce attraction.  Every other month the group hosts free educational sessions.  KEY in Des Moines is a division of the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce.

This month, we are focusing on using the Handshake platform for recruitment.  100% of Fortune 100 companies use Handshake to find their next generation of talent, but the platform is friendly for all sizes of business.

Join us for this presentation led by one of Handshake’s Relationship Managers to learn best practices that will help you engage with our candidates, including messaging, events, and more.

Megana Vemula is based in Austin, TX. She serves as a Senior Relationship Manager and has been at Handshake for all 4 years. As a Senior RM at Handshake, her key priority is to support her portfolio of education partners and to help them make the most of Handshake to meet their career goals and outcomes for students. As such, we often advise our partners on strategies that will help their students and employer partners connect in service of making connections that turn into great opportunities for all!
