Our manufacturing client is hiring an Aftermarket Sales Representative to take over their Midwest territory as a result of continued growth. This organization is one of the world's largest manufacturers in a niche product that sells aftermarket as well as OEM. This role will focus on the growth within the aftermarket side, specifically focusing on Midwest dealers. This is a great opportunity to build a dealer network and autonomy in a sales role. What you will do:
- Prospect, sell, and train new dealers on specialty product
- Identify new targets and contacts within the dealer network
- Partner with the OEM side of the business on sales opportunities
- Plan and execute travel within the territory to service existing clients and meet with new dealers
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles
- Maintain current on product and market knowledge
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years experience in sales; client-facing
- Preferred experience in mechanical or industrial product sales
- Ability to travel 25% of the month, plan travel accordingly
