In this position, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable and receivable, completing month-end reporting, and overseeing grain sales contracts and payments. Responsibilities:

• Perform any combination of the following: calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain financial data for use in maintaining accounting records
• Verify and post details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed and total accounts
• Compute quarterly sales and use tax payments
• Prepare journal entries and bank transactions
• Prepare daily ethanol shipment reports
• Perform Corn Grain posting of a contract delivered and AP billings
• Input daily CO2 data, Corn Oil, Distillers Grain, & Syrup loads into Excel for future billing
• Verify all sales contracts match confirmation notices and invoices daily
• Prepare invoices, account statements, reports, and other records for corn oil, syrup, and ddg
• Compute and record accounts receivables sales and similar items
• Monitor accounts receivable to ensure that payments are received timely
• Contact the customer and notify management when problems arise
• Enter new grain and accounts payable vendors
• Prepare grain daily position report
• Monitor and account for all grain contracts & credit sales contracts
• Process grain checks and ACH payments
• File monthly required grain report W-11
• Ensure all corn contracts and related records comply with the Iowa Department of Agriculture
• Ensure all pertinent documents are uploaded and filed in the appropriate folders in DocuWare for record-keeping purposes and future reference

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
• Excel, 10 key ability

• On-Site
