About Us

Hi, I’m Heidi, the artist behind the boards, and founder of Boards by Heidi.

I started making cheese and charcuterie boards for my own gatherings and I enjoyed it so much, I decided to turn it into a business! I am grateful for the support I’ve received so far!

I have always been a very visual person, and I enjoy creating boards that are both pretty and tasty, too. I love planning my boards, shopping for the best ingredients, picking out unique details, and experimenting with different cutting and styling techniques.

No two boards are ever the same!

FUN FACTS: In my free time I love to play tennis! I also love lifting weights and working out. I also enjoy spending time with my family. We love game nights, traveling and watching sporting events together. I also enjoy reading and spending time in the kitchen.

FAVORITE WINE/CHEESE PAIRING: I love a good rosé with honey goat cheese and prosciutto on a rosemary cracker with a drizzle of honey. Rosé is one of my favorite wines to pair with cheese because it’s versatile!

In addition to having a Home Food Processing License from the State of Iowa, I'm passionate about food and wine pairing. I enjoy pairing different bites with different wines. There is nothing better than gathering with friends over good food and a glass of wine.
