- Perform daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including advanced reconciliations and analytical review of general ledger transactions
- Ensure that all assigned reconciliations, including the daily/monthly cash reconciliations, are completed by the specified deadline in the daily/monthly checklists
- Understanding and articulating the cash position to management by analyzing the cyclical cash requirements and being informed of the credit union investment opportunity
- Review general ledger, payable transactions, and prepaid accounts to identify needed accruals and then process these in a timely manner according to the month-end close calendar
- Prepare journal entries, including the recurring monthly, cash receipts, and intercompany allocation entries
- 3-4 years of accounting experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance preferred or five years of progressing accounting experience required
