Road Closure Notice – Meredith Drive from 167th Street to 170th Street

The City of Urbandale will begin reconstructing Meredith Drive from 167th Street to west of 170th Street and 170th Street from Meredith Drive to Waterford Road as a four-lane roadway with left turn lanes.


On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, Meredith Drive will be completely closed to traffic from 167th Street to 170th Street.  The intersections of 170th Street and 167th Street will remain open.  The intersection of 169th Street will be closed.   Detours will be posted.  Local traffic will be maintained.


As work progresses, this complete closure will move, and updates will be posted on our website.


This portion of the Meredith Drive reconstruction will be completed by the fall of 2022. The entire project including 170th Street Reconstruction is expected to be completed by the fall of 2023.
