DESCRIPTION:Do you have a burning question about finances or sales and are not sure who to ask? \n\n\n\nYP2YP is a panel-style series highlighting young professionals who are subject matter experts in their field\, in addition to opening the floor for attendees to get answers to tough questions YPs may not know who or how to get answers from. \n\n\n\nJoin the Professional Development committee for the first YP2YP of 2024! \n\n\n\nMeet the Panelists! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEarl Shedd:\n\nEarl\, a mortgage loan officer with a passion for helping people achieve their financial goals\, with Midwest Family Lending in Urbandale. Although Earl's background is in Kinesiology\, he has quickly made a name for himself in the mortgage industry\, using his skills and expertise to help his customers navigate the complex world of home loans.\n\n\n\nEarl got into the business after working in pushy sales jobs where he saw how people could be taken advantage of\, and instead wanted to move to a profession in which he could genuinely help people. Earl also has personal experience with the devastating effects of not having the right people advising you on your mortgage. In 2008\, his family lost their childhood home due to poor mortgage advice. This experience motivates Earl to help people find the right mortgage solutions without any strings attached.\n\n\n\nIf you're looking for a mortgage loan officer who is knowledgeable\, attentive\, and genuinely cares about your financial success\, look no further than Earl. He will work tirelessly to ensure that you get the best possible outcome for your unique situation and guide you every step of the way.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAaron Colyer: \n\nAaron Colyer brings over 12+ years of experience and knowledge in banking. His career started at Wells Fargo Bank and realized his aspirations to help Business succeed. He started in Mortgage\, then went on the retail bank side where he held multiple roles at a bank location. He also was the program director for Wells Fargo at Work\, which teaches non-profits and employees of local businesses about different financial topics. In 2021\, Aaron continued his and career by joining Raccoon Valley Bank. He takes on the role of Business Banking Specialist. His primary focus is to assist Business' in making Banking easy\, convenient\, and affordable. He works directly with business owners to understand their needs and desires to be able to set them up for success.\n\n \n\nIf you are looking to start a Business or have one and want to learn more   Aaron has a wealth of knowledge\, and he would love to sit down and have a conversation. He can also work directly with you to assist in getting your own LLC or Corporation set-up and hit the ground running.\n\n\n\n\nDaycen Douglass:\n\nDaycen Douglass is a Financial Planning Assistant for AO Wealth Advisory. He focuses on developing financial plans for clients.\n\nRaised in La Porte City\, Iowa\, Daycen's passion for people prospered while working in retail and delivery spaces. He began his collegiate education at Hawkeye Community College and graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Financial Counseling and Planning. Daycen's relationship with AO Wealth Advisory started as an internship in 2020 and later shifted into a full-time role following graduation.\n\nHe lives with his wife in West Des Moines\, where they enjoy exploring their new community. They recently purchased a home\, so he knows a thing or two about the process!
